And by wicked, we mean awesome — 100 Street in Morinville is amping up the fun this fall

You may have already noticed that near the crossroads of 100 Street & 100 Avenue, a lively little hub has sprung up around Sturgeon Brewing, Panchita’s Taqueria, and the Ice Hut. It’s become a spot where everyone in the family can find something delicious — a craft pint, tacos or corn ribs, an ice cream treat — then gather at a picnic table to linger over conversation and games.
That spark is spreading, with new shops and activities moving in along this stretch of 100 Street including the recently opened B League Sports Store, already popular for its growing selection of new and used hockey gear and some pretty cool sports-themed clothing.
And now two new businesses are opening their doors this fall, adding even more reasons to hang out downtown.
Witches Inn Store & Eartha Wren School of the Craft
The Witches Inn Store is planning a September 6 grand opening, complete with snacks, sales, and tarot card reading lessons. The store will feature herbs, balms, tinctures, soaps, and other mystical treasures, along with classes and workshops ranging from Wicca 101 and meditation to broom-making and Halloween wreath crafts.
(And don’t worry — GV’s Hair Studio isn’t leaving. They’ll just be sharing their building with this new neighbour.)
Off the Mat Virtual Golf
Local golfers will be excited to hear that Off the Mat Virtual Golf is also set to debut this fall. The venue will feature premium simulators, a licensed bar, and plenty of atmosphere. Best of all: no weather delays — and (probably) no uber-keen players breathing down your neck if you’re just learning.

Morinville's Grownup Fun Zone?
Morinville has long been known as clean, quiet, safe place to bring up kids, but a little lacking in entertainment for grownups. But now, 100 Street is kicking it up a notch. This year, the fun won’t slow when the nights turn cold. With virtual golf and cozy witchy workshops moving in, this stretch of town is set to keep buzzing straight through winter.
