We’ve got some really great local business owners bringing shopping options into Morinville—eliminating some of your highway driving, parking lot aggravations, and general time and energy wasting.
And yet, one thing they still hear all the time is: “I didn’t even know you were here!”
So let’s fix that. These stores are here, they’re locally owned and operated, and you should definitely know about them.
B League Sports Your neighbourhood sports store

If there’s a sports lover in your house, B League Sports could be the new hangout. They carry new and used sports equipment (mostly hockey for now), plus sports-themed clothing, jerseys, hats, water bottles, and other gift and stocking-stuffer-worthy finds.
Right in the heart of town on 100 Street, they’re known for being genuinely friendly and helpful—the kind of place you can take your time browsing and ask questions when you’re ready. Bonus: they offer in-store skate sharpening.
Louie & Lola Boutique Easy style for busy women

Owned and operated by two sisters who grew up in Morinville, Louie & Lola is where fun meets fashion—without the boutique price shock. They carry a thoughtfully curated mix of Canadian and international brands in sizes XS to 3X, along with unique gifts and accessories from local makers.
Whether you're looking for a holiday party outfit or everyday wear, they’ll get you set up from underwear to shoes to earrings and lip gloss… and naturally everything in between. They’ve even got pyjamas and slippers for later.
Shopper’s Drug Mart
Major chain, local owner

I know, everyone knows Shoppers Drug Mart. But less well-known might be that Morinville’s stores are locally owned and operated by pharmacist and long-time resident Neire Monteiro. Her larger store (there are two) stocks many of the items she once wished she could buy locally herself, upping the 'what's available' factor of in-town shopping significantly.
Morinville Shoppers Drug Mart was also the main sponsor of our local Lite up the Nite Christmas Festival this year, showcasing yet another reason for supporting local businesses: Amazon and Shein don’t sponsor community festivals.
